Milestones in the Igbo Community's Journey in London
Igbo Community London (ICL) is a vibrant cultural and social organization established in 2016 by Chief Valentine Chukwuemeka-Akudinobi
Built with the vision of uniting Igbo people living in London, ICL serves as a home away from home — a place where culture, unity, and support flourish.
The organization brings Igbos together to celebrate our rich traditions, uplift one another, and maintain a strong connection with our heritage while living in the diaspora.
Founded in response to the need for a strong and organized Igbo presence in London, ICL started when its founder invited dedicated individuals who shared the dream of building a united community.
From cultural celebrations to welfare initiatives, ICL has grown into one of the most active Igbo associations in the UK.
Over the years, the community has expanded its membership and influence, promoting Igbo culture, language, unity, and diaspora connections.
