Igbo Community London (ICL) is a welcoming community that brings Igbo people, families and friends together to celebrate our heritage, strengthen friendships and support one another.

Founded in London in 2016 by Chief Valentine Chukwuemeka Akudinobi, ICL grew from a vision of unity: creating a place where our people can feel connected, valued and proud of their roots.

Our Culture, Our Connection

Our language, traditions and shared values connect us across generations. Through community gatherings, cultural celebrations and meaningful conversations, we encourage members to cherish their heritage and pass it on to their children.

We want our young people to grow with confidence in who they are, appreciate their Igbo identity and contribute positively to the wider society.
