IGBO COMMUNITY LONDON SOCIAL FORUM
Igbo Community London (ICL) is a vibrant cultural and social organization established in 2016 by Chief Valentine Chukwuemeka-Akudinobi.
Built with the vision of uniting Igbo people living in London, ICL serves as a home away from home – a place where culture, unity, and support flourish.
The organization brings Igbos together to celebrate our rich traditions, uplift one another, and maintain a strong connection with our heritage while living in the diaspora.
Our Motto
OFUOBI: One Heart
represents our dedication to unity, love, and collective progress. It is the guiding spirit behind everything we do.
Who We Are
Igbo Community London (ICL) is the principal umbrella body representing Igbos in London and across the United Kingdom. Born from the vision of Igbo achievers in the diaspora, ICL unites Igbos from Anambra, Enugu, Imo, Abia, Ebonyi, Rivers-Igbo, and Delta-Igbo backgrounds.
Our Identity
We are a non-governmental, non-partisan, and not-for-profit civil society movement. ICL exists to protect and promote the destiny, language, values, and cultural heritage of the Igbo people. We advocate for the Think Home Philosophy, encouraging community empowerment, cultural pride, and development rooted in Igbo identity.
