About Igbo Community London

Igbo Community London (ICL) is duly registered Igbo social-cultural umbrella organisation based in London. The association was formed on 1st January 2014 by Chief Valentine Chukwuemeka-Akudinobi with Lady Caroline Kalu, Barr Eugune Duru and Lady Edith Nwachuckwu joining thereafter as pioneer members. The association presently has over fourty members, and still growing.

The rationale for forming the association is to bring Igbos living in London and environs together to work for the greater good of Igbo people and to project the Igbo nation in positive light. ICL has an open-door policy and is welcoming to everyone of Igbo descent living within London and environs.
